I didn't spend to much time on this one, though it took me a hella while to figure out how to shade the damn thing. I've established this...
1 color = easy and makes me happy. I cheated on a few things. For one, all the shading is just low transparency black. Two, I didn't put in any highlights because they kept turning out wrong and I wanted it to be rather dark. Three... I don't know. The background? I like it alright though; the cat's expression gives me the creeps. I'll probally make this my ID. Eventually. Anyway... basicly, I wanted to practice drawing cats and this is what happened; a hybrid between the cat from "Hey Diddle Diddle" and the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
